Rain-Guards custom radial design works like a car's tire to help channel the water away. Normal crutch tips with circular rings along the bottom actually trap water under the tip. When you push down, water is forced out between the ground and the ring, thus causing your crutch tips, cane tip or walkter tips to hydroplane, significantly increasing your chances of falling. With Rain-Guards, your crutch tips, cane tip or walkter tips always stay in contact with the ground, and the water naturally flows through the channels, away from the tip, and never comes between you and the ground. Rain-Guards fit 3/4 inch crutch, cane and walker shafts. They replace the current tips you are using. You wear them indoors and out to prevent slipping on wet surfaces. If you live in areas where it snows you should buy a pair of Snow Boots as well. Both Rain-Guards and Snow Boots are sold as pairs.
